Healthy Lifestyle Campaign Report (Human Motivation)

               The healthy lifestyle campaign was organized by the Human Motivation Class students of American Degree Programme and it is sponsored by Mind 4 Life from the 26th to 30th March 2012 at Segi College Kuala Lumpur. The slogan which was specified for the campaign was “Health is the soul that animates all the enjoyments of life, which fade and are tasteless without it”.

               Throughout this period of time, there were many activities prepared for the beneficial of both the students and lecturers. For the first two days of the campaign which was on the 26th and 27th March 2012, there was selling of products by the members of the body shop in the lobby. These products include make-ups, skin care, bath and body, for hair, for men, fragrance, accessories which include for hair, facial and body care. All the lecturers or students who purchase their products were given an exclusive discount up to 50%.

                According to the members’ of the body shop worldwide, there is only one way to be beautiful, nature’s way. Therefore all the products sold were 100% vegetarian and it has no testing on animals as this is to end the needless suffering of the animals.

             Furthermore, a brief explanation was given by the members of the body shop to the customers while purchasing the products so that the customers will be aware on how to use the products in an appropriate way and on which it does not cause any difficulties for them in the future. The customers are also allowed to test the products before they buy it. Some goody bags were also allocated to the students of the Human Motivation class as a token of appreciation.

               Next, the products also are suitable for all skin types including the oily skin, dry skin and so on. On the other hand, they also sold red ribbons which indicate their support for those who is infected and affected with HIV or AIDS. All the money will then be donated to the PT Foundation allowing them the opportunity to run education and prevention initiatives on HIV/AIDS.
